Helen Lowry: Vocals. Helen is a classically trained vocalist who pulls from many genres and who’s influences include Fiona Apple, Brandi Carlile, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. She works as a wrap god for a Buffalo based percussion mallet company, and as a soloist at UUCB. She enjoys nature, art, bars with dartboards, and taking forever to write songs.
Charles Lambros: Violin, Vocals. Charles is a classically trained violinist who began studies at age 3. Musical influences include the Grateful Dead, Phish and other jam bands. He has worked for 25 years as a teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools and he loves to ski and spend time outside.
James Burgess: Piano, synthesizers, vocals. James’ musical influences include singer/ songwriter, rock n roll, and soul music. He has played with The Great Train Robbery, Mercury Rev, and Outer Circle Orchestra. James currently teaches music and piano. He enjoys the outdoors, and collaborating with other musicians.
Steve Rao: Drums, Percussion. Steve began studying drums at a young age in Michigan. His musical influences include funk, hip hop, bluegrass and soul music. He teaches middle school science and once traveled on top of a train.
Dave Goddard: Guitar, Vocals. Dave has been writing and singing his own songs for as far back as his memory permits. Dave was a co-founder of the People’s Coffeehouse, Western New York’s longest running folk music venue. He also gained some notoriety as The US Postal Service’s Musical ambassador in the Buffalo Public Schools. There, he earned the moniker “The Singing Mailman.” In his retirement Dave is trying to learn how to play well with others.
Paul Zanolli: Bass, Guitar, Vocals. Paul played lead guitar and wrote music for Proton Decay and t-zero - another Buffalo era. A founding member of The Blood Thirsty Vegans, Paul has played with many Buffalo players on numerous projects and regularly accompanies on guitar/bass at the UU Church of Buffalo. Keeping things simple is an ongoing challenge for this delusional musician.
